Role and Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced Data Management Implementation Manager to support a client’s data platform implementation. This role will work closely with the client’s data management team and enterprise architect to define requirements, document the target-state solution, support implementation decisions, and ensure data quality and governance requirements are effectively incorporated into the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business, data, and functional requirements.
• Develop process flows, data pipelines, architecture documentation, and decision-support materials.
• Develop and execute test scripts across the implementation lifecycle.
• Design and build data quality rules and validation logic.
• Support data governance, metadata management, and data cataloging activities.
• Partner with the project’s enterprise architect on solution design and implementation.
• Work closely with business, technology, and data management stakeholders throughout the implementation.

Ideal Background

• Experienced consultant with hands-on experience implementing investment data management platforms.

• Experience with BNY Eagle Reference Data Center (RDC), Eagle Data Vault, or comparable platforms such as Arcesium, GoldenSource, Rimes, Markit EDM, SimCorp, or Bloomberg Data Management solutions.
• Strong understanding of reference/master data, investment data pipelines, data quality, metadata, and governance.
• Experience working within or closely alongside an asset manager or institutional investor’s data management function.
• Ability to translate business and data requirements into clear technical and process documentation.
